Each person must know how many 'eggs are in the basket'. We rely on years of experience and knowledge to guide partners in the collection of the necessary documents. The sharing of financial information is necessary to achieve a fair result.
OUR SERVICES:
During the 22 years I practised family law, I was required to maintain office space, office staff, membership fees, and professional liability insurance - the items that lawyers are responsible for and are factored into hourly rates.
As a retired member of the Law Society, I no longer carry those expenses.
I offer a block fee for mediation services, which includes direction in the gathering of financial information that the lawyers who prepare the final agreement will require.
BLOCK FEE: Mediation: $3000
(shared equally by the partners)
Divorce Documents: $500.
